Last updated: 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Brick Selects ("Brick Selects," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you when you visit our website, complete a buyer or seller form or quiz, or otherwise interact with our services (collectively, the "Service"). This document is provided for general informational purposes and is not legal advice.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Information you provide. Name, email address, phone number, mailing or property address, buying or selling timeline, price range, property details, financing status, and any other information you submit through our forms, quizzes, surveys, account signup, or messages.
  • Account information. If you create an account, login credentials and authentication metadata (e.g., when you signed in, which provider you used).
  • Communications. Records of your calls, texts, emails, and chat messages with us or with Agents we refer you to.
  • Device & usage data. IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, time on page, clicks, and approximate (city/region-level) geolocation derived from IP.
  • Cookies & similar technologies. Cookies, pixels, local storage, and SDK identifiers used for site functionality, analytics, and marketing measurement.

We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, government IDs, or payment-card data through the Service. Please do not submit such information through our forms.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • connect you with licensed real estate Agents who can assist with your buying, selling, or related inquiry;
  • respond to your requests, provide customer support, and send transactional messages;
  • send marketing communications about properties, market updates, and our services (where permitted);
  • operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service;
  • measure performance of our marketing and referral partners; and
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

3. Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis (for example, for users in certain jurisdictions), we rely on: your consent (e.g., for marketing texts and certain cookies); performance of a contract (to provide the Service you request); our legitimate interests (to operate, secure, and improve the Service); and compliance with legal obligations.

4. How We Share Information

We share information in the following circumstances:

  • With licensed Agents. When you submit a buyer or seller request, we share the information you provided (including your contact details and inquiry) with one or more independent Agents in our network so they can follow up with you.
  • With service providers. Vendors that host our infrastructure, send email/SMS, perform analytics, prevent fraud, and provide CRM and customer support, under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
  • For legal reasons. When required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Brick Selects, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
  • With your direction or consent. Any other sharing you specifically authorize.

We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration. Some sharing with advertising or analytics partners through cookies may qualify as a "sale" or "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under certain U.S. state laws; see Section 8 for your rights and how to opt out.

5. Communications & TCPA Consent

By submitting your phone number, you consent to receive calls, autodialed and pre-recorded calls, and SMS/MMS messages from Brick Selects and the Agents we refer your inquiry to, at the number provided, regarding real estate services. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of marketing texts at any time by replying STOP, and unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any message. Transactional or service messages necessary to fulfill your request may continue.

6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use first-party and third-party cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to remember your preferences, keep you signed in, analyze how the Service is used, and measure the performance of our marketing campaigns. Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies via browser settings; doing so may impact site functionality. Where required, we will request your consent before placing non-essential cookies.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with our legal obligations (including tax, accounting, and lead-tracking requirements), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer required, we delete or de-identify it.

8. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you;
  • request a copy of your information in a portable format;
  • opt out of marketing communications (texts: reply STOP; emails: use unsubscribe link);
  • opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information and limit the use of sensitive personal information (where applicable under U.S. state privacy laws);
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and
  • appeal a denial of a privacy request.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@brickselects.com. We will verify your identity before fulfilling the request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

9. Data Security

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction, including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in jurisdictions that apply that threshold). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

11. International Users

The Service is operated from and intended for users in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

12. Third-Party Links & Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services we do not operate, including independent Agents. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before sharing information with them.
